Titchfield has a mix of older cottages, terraced homes, flats and converted properties, and that often means awkward access rather than wide-open driveways. When we clear a property here, we plan the job around the route out of the house, where the vehicle can sit, and how long it will take to load without blocking neighbours or the street.
That matters just as much for a single room clearance as it does for a full house. Shared entrances, narrow hallways, loft items, basement storage, garden sheds and stacked garages all need a calm, organised approach so nothing gets damaged on the way through. If parking is limited, we work around it and keep the move-out as tidy as we can.
We are also used to short-notice clearances in Titchfield when a landlord needs a property turned around, a tenant has left items behind, or a family wants a home cleared before sale or handover. The key is to sort first, lift carefully, and keep the job moving cleanly through built-up residential streets.
From our Fareham base, Titchfield is only around 10 minutes and 2.9 miles away, so we can usually respond quickly when timing is tight. That makes a real difference if you are trying to meet an estate agent deadline, prepare a property for the next occupier, or clear out storage spaces before a move.

We deal with the sort of contents that build up in lived-in homes, rented properties and inherited houses: furniture, white goods, boxed items, loft contents, garage clutter, sheds, and left-behind possessions after a move.
We can work room by room or take on the whole property, depending on what you need. If there are items you want to keep back, we separate those first so nothing gets taken by mistake. For many Titchfield customers, that careful sorting is what makes the process feel manageable rather than overwhelming.
Because properties here often sit on narrower streets or shared plots, we also keep an eye on how we load the van and how long we spend at the kerb. That helps avoid unnecessary disruption for neighbours and keeps the clear-out moving at a sensible pace.
Good-quality furniture and usable household items are always checked for a second life before anything else. That can include pieces suitable for local reuse routes such as British Heart Foundation, Sue Ryder, or Barnardo's when they are in saleable condition.
We separate recyclable materials where possible and take suitable loads to Segensworth Household Waste Recycling Centre. When a clearance includes mixed items, we sort carefully so reusable items are not thrown away with the rest.
Larger pieces such as sofas, wardrobes, beds and garden items are handled with the property layout in mind. If something can be passed on or reused, we look at that route first; if not, it is disposed of through licensed channels.
If you want a clear, respectful and well-managed house clearance in Titchfield, we make the process straightforward from the first call.
Pick up the phone - we are ready when you are.
We help homeowners, tenants, landlords, executors and letting agents when a property needs to be emptied properly and without fuss.
If you are dealing with a house that feels too full to tackle on your own, we can take the pressure off. We are used to working carefully around items to keep, documents, sentimental belongings and anything that needs setting aside before the clearance begins.
We can also help when a job has to be done with tact and speed at the same time. That balance is often important in Titchfield, especially when the next stage depends on the property being empty and ready on schedule.

Local knowledge
Titchfield is a historic village just west of Fareham town centre, recorded at 7,280 people in its ward at the 2011 census.
The village grew up around Titchfield Abbey, founded in 1222 and converted into a house after the dissolution; the ruins are now looked after by English Heritage. The old core around it is the tightest part of the village — narrow lanes that were not laid out for a long-wheelbase van, and a good number of properties where we allow for a carry rather than parking at the door.
There is genuinely old building stock here. St Peter's Church dates from around 680 and the tithe barn's timbers have been dated to 1408-09. Properties of that age tend to mean thick walls, narrow staircases and doorways built narrower than modern furniture, so nothing gets dragged or forced on the way out.
The River Meon runs alongside the village, and the Titchfield Canal — possibly England's second-oldest, completed around 1611 — sealed the river off from the sea and ended the village's role as a port. Properties on the low ground near the water are worth mentioning when you book.
At 2.9 miles and roughly 10 minutes from our base, the onward route is worked out before the van is loaded rather than after. Anything still usable is kept separate as we go, and only what is genuinely finished with goes to a household recycling centre.

We cannot promise any particular shop will accept a given item — that is always their call on the day — but sorting for reuse first is how we keep as much as possible out of the skip.
