Locks Heath has a mix of family houses, bungalows and estate homes, and that usually means plenty of places for belongings to spread out over the years. In practice, the hardest part of a house clearance is often not the main rooms, but the garages, lofts, sheds and side storage that have quietly filled up with boxed items, old furniture and things kept "just in case".
We clear those spaces properly, not just the obvious rooms. If a garage is packed with white goods, if the loft has years of mixed storage, or if the shed has become the place for broken garden furniture and spare household items, we can sort it, load it and clear it away with care.
Locks Heath also suits straightforward scheduling. It’s a well-connected part of the Fareham area, and we’re used to working around driveway parking, shared access on estates and the kind of properties where a tidy, efficient clearance makes a big difference before a sale, renovation or handover.
For customers here, house clearance is often about getting a property ready for the next stage quickly. That might mean making rooms easier to photograph for marketing, creating space for decorators and trades, or clearing a home before a move into care. We handle the practical side so you can move on without the stress of doing it all yourself.

We always look for items that can be passed on for a second life before anything else. Good furniture, usable household items and saleable pieces are separated out so they can be directed towards suitable reuse routes instead of being treated as waste straight away.
When items can’t be reused, we sort materials carefully and send recyclable parts to the appropriate channels. That helps keep avoidable waste out of landfill and keeps the clearance process responsible from start to finish.
Some items simply need proper disposal, especially if they’re damaged, broken or beyond reuse. We use the correct disposal routes, including licensed facilities such as Segensworth Household Waste Recycling Centre, so the job is handled properly.
We’re often called in when a property has reached the point where people just want it cleared properly, with less stress and fewer return visits.
Pick up the phone - we are ready when you are.
If you’re selling, renovating or simply trying to reclaim space, we can clear the items that have built up over time and leave the property easier to use.
We know these clearances need patience and respect. We can help reduce the pressure when a loved one’s home needs sorting through.
If a tenant has moved out and the property needs to be emptied quickly, we can clear leftover furniture, rubbish and mixed household items before the next step.
Moving to a smaller home often means deciding what stays and what goes. We can take the furniture, storage items and surplus contents that won’t fit the new place.
1.
Send a brief description of the property, the access and the main items involved, whether that’s a loft full of boxes, a packed garage or a whole house.
2.
We’ll talk through the clearance and set out what needs to happen, so you know how the job will be approached before anything is moved.
3.
On the day, we remove the agreed items carefully, separating reusable belongings, recyclable materials and items for licensed disposal.
4.
Once the clearance is complete, the home is easier to market, clean, renovate or hand over without extra clutter slowing things down.

Local knowledge
Locks Heath sits between Fareham and the River Hamble, part of a built-up area that had 7,104 people in the village proper at the 2011 census.
This was strawberry country. Growing strawberries was the most important local activity here in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries, peaking in the 1920s before declining — and the field pattern left behind still shows in how the later housing was laid out.
Most of what stands now went up in the mid-1980s, when the area was developed for housing and the Lockswood Centre was built. That makes the majority of clearances here relatively straightforward: driveways, wider doorways and space to work, with volume mattering more than access.
Because the housing is largely of one period, we see a lot of similar jobs — full house clearances on sale or probate, loft and garage clear-outs, and end-of-tenancy turnarounds. Those all quote differently, so it helps to say up front which one you have.
At 4.9 miles and roughly 17 minutes from our base, the onward route is worked out before the van is loaded rather than after. Anything still usable is kept separate as we go, and only what is genuinely finished with goes to a household recycling centre.

We cannot promise any particular shop will accept a given item — that is always their call on the day — but sorting for reuse first is how we keep as much as possible out of the skip.
