Locks Heath is a straightforward place to work in, with family houses, estates, bungalows and the sort of garages and lofts where old furniture tends to end up waiting for a clear-out. We regularly help with single items, full room sets, and leftover pieces that need shifting before a tenancy ends or a new delivery arrives.
Sofas, armchairs, beds, mattresses, wardrobes, cabinets, dining tables, drawers, office desks and mixed furniture from bedrooms, lounges, dining rooms and spare rooms.
Some properties have tight hallways, upstairs bedrooms, side gates, shared entrances or awkward parking. That is all normal for us. We plan the lift, carry and loading route so bulky items are taken out safely without damage to walls, doors or flooring.
If new furniture is due from a shop, or you are decorating before the next delivery lands, we can clear the old pieces first so the room is ready. That is especially useful for tenants, landlords and anyone who needs a quick reset between occupants.
From our Fareham base, we can usually reach Locks Heath in around 17 minutes and 4.9 miles, which helps when you need an item gone without much notice.

If a piece is in decent condition, we look at whether it can be passed on for reuse rather than straight to disposal. A serviceable sofa, table or wardrobe should not be sent for waste if it still has a useful life left.
Damaged or unwanted furniture is sorted with recycling and disposal in mind. We separate what can be reused from what needs licensed disposal, which keeps the clear-out efficient and avoids unnecessary trips.
A lot of customers in Locks Heath call us because a new bed, suite or dining set is due soon. We can work around that handover so the old furniture is removed before the replacement arrives, not after the new item is already sat in the hallway.
If you need furniture removal in Locks Heath, we keep it simple: tell us what is there, where it is, and when you need it gone. We will help you choose the right collection plan for your property and access.
Pick up the phone - we are ready when you are.
This is a good fit for end-of-tenancy clear-outs, furnished rentals, and properties that need to be handed back without old furniture left behind.
If you have a sofa, bed or wardrobe that will not fit in the car, we can take care of the bulky lifting and transport for you.
If you have ordered a new bed, suite or dining set from a shop, we can clear the old pieces beforehand so there is no clash on delivery day.
We regularly collect from different property types across Locks Heath, including upstairs rooms, ground-floor homes and places with limited parking or tight access.
Heavy, awkward items are not easy to move safely on your own. If you would rather avoid the loading, the traffic and the lifting, we can collect it from the property.
1.
Send over a few details about the furniture, the room it is in, and whether there are stairs, shared access or tight parking.
2.
We work out the safest way to remove the items and agree a time that suits your move, replacement delivery or tenancy handover.
3.
Our team does the lifting, carrying and loading, including bulky pieces that are awkward to move through hallways or down staircases.
4.
Usable items are considered for reuse, and the rest is dealt with through the right disposal route so the job is finished properly.

Local knowledge
Locks Heath sits between Fareham and the River Hamble, part of a built-up area that had 7,104 people in the village proper at the 2011 census.
This was strawberry country. Growing strawberries was the most important local activity here in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries, peaking in the 1920s before declining — and the field pattern left behind still shows in how the later housing was laid out.
Most of what stands now went up in the mid-1980s, when the area was developed for housing and the Lockswood Centre was built. That makes the majority of clearances here relatively straightforward: driveways, wider doorways and space to work, with volume mattering more than access.
Because the housing is largely of one period, we see a lot of similar jobs — full house clearances on sale or probate, loft and garage clear-outs, and end-of-tenancy turnarounds. Those all quote differently, so it helps to say up front which one you have.
At 4.9 miles and roughly 17 minutes from our base, the onward route is worked out before the van is loaded rather than after. Anything still usable is kept separate as we go, and only what is genuinely finished with goes to a household recycling centre.

We cannot promise any particular shop will accept a given item — that is always their call on the day — but sorting for reuse first is how we keep as much as possible out of the skip.
